World Languages - Davis

There are many good reasons to study world languages. In the present-day world, the most important is probably the need to be able to communicate with people who speak other languages in the commercial, professional, and political worlds as well as in day- to-day living at home or abroad. Many colleges and universities demand at least two years of study of a world language as an entrance equirement.

Note: Students who plan to study a world language must enroll in the first course in the fall, since that is the only time the beginning class is offered.
