U.S. history from Reconstruction (1865) to the present. Themes include Imperialism, Progressivism, World War I, Great Depression, World War II, the Civil Rights and Women’s Movements, the Vietnam War, recent U.S. foreign policy and political movements.

CWU US HIST143 US History to 1865  or SSR 311

College-level content and coursework. Students must enroll and register for the course through Central Washington University within registration window. Parent(s) and guardians must give consent to participate in the class.  Students must pass placement tests.
